1. This is a completly free method for ripping dvds. You can use dvd decrypter to rip the ifo and vob files. And then you can use auto gk to convert it into an avi file. There is a tutorial here on how to do it. http://www.thoosje.com/vista-forum/viewtopic.php?t=3643
