What free software do you recommend to view pictures?

I have XP Home and it doesn't seem that I have a program that allows me to view pictures when they are sent to me as an attachment in an email. I simply want to click on the picture and be able to view it. No need for editing pictures, etc. Is there a free program that is safe to download for this purpose? Right now jasc software tries to open it but it is a pain and I'd like to replace it. Thanks for the responses! I found I already had IrfanView on my computer! I guess the problem I was I didn't have it set as the default. I found out on the FAQs from Irfan's site how to change it to the default viewer and I think I am now good! Thanks!!!

3. Windows XP does come with an image viewer, the Windows Fax and Image Viewer. Right click on the photo that you want to see, and select Open With > Windows Image & Fax Viewer. :) You can, however, get FastStone Image Viewer from here http://pctonic.blogspot.com/2007/05/image-editors.html
4. Try Picasa. Free from Google. You can download it here. Also for editing pics. http://picasa.google.com/
