Is there any other freeware software that is similar to SuperAd Blocker?
I downloaded and used the trial version and it worked amazingly well. However, I can't keep on downloading the trial version as it recognises that I've downloaded it before. Does anyone know how to overcome this? OR Any other software that is similare but it is freeware? I have Vista by the way so if there are any options in there that I could change that would be helpful.

- PIRATE BAY YOU CAN GET IT FREE
- Try using firefox, and get the Adblock Plus plug in. It works perfectly for me.
- ad-aware
- The software is actually built right into Windows...One must just add the correct ad-servers to block. You can block 90% of ALL ads with MVPS Hosts file. Helps in the fight against virus and malware too. "You can use a HOSTS file to block ads, banners, 3rd party Cookies, 3rd party page counters, web bugs, and even most hijackers. This is accomplished by blocking the connection(s) that supplies these little gems." http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm Once you have them blocked, you can make your blocked adverts look "purdy" with Homer (optional). "Now that you're blocking ads and sites with your hosts file, Speed up your browsing experience by serving an image of your choice to fill in where those ads would have normally been." http://www.funkytoad.com/content/view/14/32/ Both are free. Just be sure and check for updates to MVPS regularly. Enjoy.
- **Adaware 2008 is pretty good (Adaware se personal was better, but you can't get the updates anymore without a fair bit of difficulty) **Spybot Search & Destroy 1.5 is great **AVG Free is great **Super Anit-spyware is great I use all of these myself. Good luck!
- try this site for some free stuff http://filehippo.com/
- SpywareBlaster 4.0 http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2859 The most important step you can take is to secure your system. And this is the most powerful protection program available. Will help keep your system spyware-free and secure, without interfering with the "good side" of the web. And unlike other programs, does not have to remain running in the background.
