Freeware Software Download

Does anybody know of freeware/addons like Switchproxy? What kind of software/addon is SwitchProxy?

I am just wondering if anybody knows any other software/freeware/addons/etc... like Switch Proxy? And what type of software is SwitchProxy considered? What category is it in? What type of software would you call it? Thanks!

Proxies serve as application firewalls that make connection requests to websites on your behalf. Because of that you never contact the website directly and remain anonymous and protected.
