What is the best free video capture software?

My laptop has a built - in acer crystal eye web cam, but there is not software installed to capture video. What is the best free software?

3. I don't know any free video capture software, but I do know one that is cheap and very good called 1AVCapture. It captures audio and video from any source of the PC including the full desktop, videos from inside websites like YouTube, webcams, DV cameras, TV tuners, USB TV tuners, you name it.
