Suggestions on a free software for batch watermarking photos?

I am looking for a software(free) that is able to put a watermark(image or text or both) on pictures. I have used Arles and it is only free for some time. I would like to be able to edit my pictures in Photoshop and then open/process the watermark in a free software. Any suggestions would be great!

1. I am looking to do the same thing. Automatically watermark photographs in photoshop. I found a tutorial that creates a action that is recorded in photoshop that can be automatically repeated with each picture. I put the link to the tutorial below. If I find anything better, I will let you know. I would prefer to batch watermark them with a free software, but this is the best I have found so far. Updated: I found a nice tutorial on You tube showing how to watermark in photoshop with batch mode and also another simple article on how to watermark with a ping logo file. I added the resources below for you.
